This is what my packing list currently look like:
Ortlieb RackPack 49L (center bag) – 12.5 kg/27.6 lbs:
- Bag 1: Shoes.
- Bag 2: 6 set of T-shirts and boxers. (Laundry bag underneath)
- Bag 3: Belt. Shirt. Running jacket. Merino long underwear. Beanie. Sealskinz socks. Bag 4: 3 long and 3 short merino socks. Bag 5: Spare bits and pieces.
- Macbook Air
- Sunglasses
- Bag 6: Zip-off pants. Running/swimming shorts. AdventureSpec Baltic Hybrid Jacket. Sandals.
- Bag 7: Kindle. Powerbank. UE BOOM 2, headphones. Chromecast, Backup phone, international drivers license, GPS bag. Magic arm. Reading glasses. Maps.
- Electronics Bag (stored inside bag 7): SSD drives. SD cards. Data and power cables for everything.
- Fanny Pack: Travel adapter. Head lamp.
- Toiletry Bag: Tooth brush + paste. Shaver. Shampoo. Body lotion. Deodorant. Hair wax. 3 in 1 nail clipper. Cotton swabs, Towel.
- EDC Toolkit
Right side drybag – 10 kg/22 lbs:
- 2 Rokstraps
- 2 Ratchet straps
- Toilet paper
- Spare riding gloves.
- Kriega tool roll
- BMW bag (tire tools)
- HUSKY bag (consumables for the bikes)
- Disc lock + wire.
- Food
Left side drybag – 4.2 kg/9 lbs:
- Tent
- Pillows
- Esee Junglas
- Jetboil Stash
Beaver Tail:
- Lightweight back pack (shopping bag)
- Drying line
- Mosquito net
Beneath the Rack Pack – 1 kg/1.8 lbs:
- Tent pole bag with tent poles and lightweight drybag
- Bike cover
Wunderlich BarBag Media L – 0.7 kg/ 1.5 lbs:
- Canon G5X MARK II
- Spork
Back pack – 2.2 kg/4.6 lbs:
- 2 ½ L hydration pack (water not included)
- AdventureSpec “AquaPac” rain jacket
- Klim Zephyr windbreaker
- Folder with papers.
- Band Aid.
As you probably can imagine a packing list is not a static thing. It changes slightly all the time as I come up with better solutions – and the season/weather also plays a part.
The total weight of my luggage including the bags (excluding the R80 harness which is 4.3 kg/9.5 lbs.) is close to 31 kg/69 lbs. 6.3 kg/13.9 lbs out of that is tools.
