I have been using Mosko Moto R80 Revolver since it was released in 2020. It’s my all time favorite luggage solution for motorcycle travel and the obvious choice for The Big Trip. Properly mounted it doesn’t budge even on very bumpy roads. It’s easy to organize and access the bags, my gear is kept dry and the setup can take a beating.

Based on experience with the R80 I decided to use this setup:

  • No aux bags.
  • I only pack the side drybags high enough to make them level with the seat – because…
  • The 22L Stinger tail bag is replaced with an Ortlieb 49L RackPack.

This still leaves me with approximately 80 liters of storage, but distributed in a way I find more practical than the standard R80 setup.
The right drybag primarily contains tools and other bike related stuff.
The left drybag contains camping equipment.
The tail bag contains everything that I need while off the bike – it’s the only bag I need to bring when staying under a solid roof.

Besides the R80 I use a Wunderlich handlebar bag for my camera and to charge stuff during the day. It can also hold my phone if I need to use it as a GPS.

Finally I wear a Kriega R20 back pack that contains a hydration bladder and the most essential stuff (it’s mostly empty).

Katrine has decided to use a similar setup.

We share the camping gear and spare parts between us. I carry all the tools. Besides that we each decide what to bring and how to pack. That’s one of the luxuries of riding separate bikes.
